Israel Destroys Hamas Gaza Chief Yehiyeh Sinwar's Home
Israel bombed the home of Hamas' chief in Gaza early on Sunday and the Islamist group fired rochet barrages at Tel Aviv as hostilities stretched into a seventh day with no sign of abating.
Sinwar, a former commander of Hamas' military branch, served more than two decades in an Israeli jail before he was released in 2011 as a part of a prisoner axchange.
At least have been killed in Gaza since the violence began on Monday, including 41 children, health officials said. Israel has reported 10 dead, including two children. Israel's army said Palestinian militants in Gaza had fired some 29000 rockets towards Israel. The army said450 rockets fell short inside Gaza, while Israel's Iron Dome air defense system has intercepted approximately 1150 rockets.
